A legendary warrior dies with a thousand innocent lives on his hands...not by choice, but by order. Betrayed and reborn as a spider in a quiet purgatory between worlds, he has seven days to find the scattered souls of the men he killed, face each one, and set them free.

But purgatory is full of others like him. Not everyone makes it out.

If he earns his way back, he returns to the living world sharper, freer, and with unfinished business.

Some sins do not forgive a second absence.

This is not the full story. This is where it begins.

What happens in purgatory doesn't stay there. Every soul faced, every sin confronted, every moment of reflection...it all comes back with him.

And when he finally returns to the living world, he'll have every reason to burn it down looking for the man who betrayed him.

But seven days of atonement has a way of making you question everything you thought you wanted.

The main story is coming. This is just the weight he carries into it.

This serves as the prologue to Re: Tsuchigumo - Web of Atonement.

N/B: The game is still in development, and there’s still a lot left for me to add and improve. This is more or less a prologue to the main game, but I’ll talk more about that later.

There’s still so much I plan to implement over time, and I’ll keep working on it.
